Invisalign

This discreet, made-for-you orthodontic treatment enables you to straighten your teeth and improve your smile’s aesthetic with advanced technology and removable aligner trays.

Invisalign is a Sophisticated Orthodontics System

Invisalign is an advanced technology created to fix a wide range of straightening issues without the need for fixed braces.
The system uses a series of bespoke aligner trays, adding pressure to teeth in a calculated fashion to gradually transition your teeth into a desired final position. You must wear these clear aligners at least 20 to 22 hours of the day to see results; though these trays are removable, you should only take them out whilst eating or brushing your teeth.

Digital Dentistry Plays a Key Role

We use our leading dental technology to take accurate digital impressions of your teeth using an intraoral scanner. The Invisalign software lets us see a 3-D rendering of your smile as it is now and how this orthodontic system will move your teeth, allowing you to see the projected final result — even before treatment commences.

The length of treatment varies based on the circumstances of the individual. Simple adjustments can take as little as three months, whereas more complex cases may take up to two years.

Invisalign Addresses Many Smile Shortcomings

Invisalign is an excellent option for those who want to enhance their smile by making it straighter and more uniform. Our dentists use Invisalign to correct a multitude of issues, including:

The Advantages of Choosing Invisalign

Compared to traditional fixed braces, Invisalign has many benefits.

Learn How Invisalign Can Change Your Smile with a Consultation

Invisalign treatment at City Quay Dental Clinic starts with a consultation with one of our esteemed dentists. We have helped many patients achieve straighter, healthier smiles using the Invisalign system.

At your consultation, we review the goals for your teeth, discuss your options, and evaluate your oral health to determine whether Invisalign is the best approach for you.

Once you have seen the projected smile outcome on the screen and decide to proceed with treatment, we will order your series of clear aligner trays. Using the detailed 3-D intraoral scan, Invisalign technicians craft your aligners and deliver them to our practice.

Highly Personalised Treatment Plans

We will schedule regular check-ups throughout your treatment to check in on your progress and provide you with more aligner trays. Depending on how quickly your teeth move, we advise moving to the next aligner in the series every one to two weeks. As your treatment progresses, you will notice the difference in your smile as your teeth gradually shift into the desired position.

You may require composite attachment buttons colour-matched to your teeth. These tiny buttons give the trays added strength to manipulate the alignment of your teeth.

Once treatment concludes, you must wear a retainer at night to prevent teeth from migrating back to their previous positions.

Invisalign Treatment Guide and Cost

Invisalign treatment can vary depending on the length of time and the number of aligners required for your specific Invisalign case. We will help determine the right treatment for your case and set realistic expectations for duration and results.
There are several Invisalign treatment options, with Invisalign Go and Invisalign Full as two of our standard treatments:
Invisalign Go
Invisalign Go contains both upper and lower aligners and is intended for those with mild to moderate crowding or spacing issues.
Invisalign Full
Invisalign Full is an all-encompassing treatment. These packages contain aligners for both upper and lower jaws, a retainer, and a whitening treatment. This type of Invisalign is for people requiring more complex orthodontic corrections and therefore takes longer.

Invisalign Aligner Care

You must take care of the Invisalign aligners as part of your oral health routine, which helps avoid trapping bacteria within the aligner, which may lead to future cavities.

Clean the aligner by rinsing it under warm water, brushing it with a soft-bristled toothbrush, and then rinsing it again with warm water. During the cleaning process, evaluate the aligner, ensuring it is still in good condition. If there is any build-up, such as tartar, soak the aligner in a cleaning solution (provided by Invisalign). We advise that you clean your Invisalign aligners every time you brush your teeth.
